Order Your 2014 Merchandise!
Place your orders now for the 2014 LETR shirts. This year the short sleeve shirts are red and the long sleeve shirts are gray (please note that even though the picture shows short sleeve, gray shirt are long sleeve!). There will be NO hats this year. Our first order will go to the vendor on February 19th with delivery expected by March 1st. You must use the order form. All shirts are a $20 donation.
2014 Heroes Pull
The date for the Heroes Pull is Sunday, March 16th at Splash Cove Parking Lot (5800 King Avenue, Shawnee, KS) at 2:20 p.m. Get a group of your favorite heroes and join the challenge! Visit www.heroespull.org for more information and to register your team. Team registration is open to anyone, not just police and fire departments.

Join us for Outback Steakhouse Give Back and Tip A Cop event on Thursday, March 20th. Print off this flyer and present it at the restaurant and Outback will donate 15% of your ticket to SOKS. Tip-A-Cop will happen from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Locations are in Wichita, Topeka, and Overland Park. Officers needed to serve and to eat some steak! Bring your mates!
KC Metro agencies will be joining forces at our annual Popcorn Standoff at the Merriam Cinemark (5500 Antioch, Merriam, KS). The event will take place on Saturday, April 12. Officers will be present from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Proceeds from large and tub popcorn sales will be donated to the LETR. Make it a family night to see Rio 2!
Johnson County, Kansas Sheriff's Office Shoot Out
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is hosting their annual Shoot Out! The event will take place Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will be held at Millcreek Rifle Club (7215 Garner Road, Desoto, KS 66018). Competition will include three shooting events - two paper, one steel match and optional side match. Maximum participation is 250 people, including law enforcement and the general public. Awards will be given for Top 3 overall shooters, including the coveted Law Enforcement Traveling Team Trophy! Great prizes and drawings! Lunch provided by our friends at Atmos Energy. The Kansas LETR is proud to present their annual crappie tournament! The event will be held on Saturday, April 26th at Clinton Lake, Boat Ramp #2. Special Olympics Summer Games in Wichita will be held June 6th - 8th. Torch Run Route information is due April 1st. Please note this is a week later than normal so check your calendars for your run date! Make plans to join us for the Final Leg on Friday, June 6th and to present medals for the weekend.
