Order Your 2014 Merchandise!

Place your orders now for the 2014 LETR shirts.  This year the short sleeve shirts are red and the long sleeve shirts are gray (please note that even though the picture shows short sleeve, gray shirt are long sleeve!).  There will be NO hats this year.  Our first order will go to the vendor on February 19th with delivery expected by March 1st. You must use the order form.  All shirts are a $20 donation.

LETR Executive Council Positions Announcement

Detective Adam Taylor with the Prairie Village Police Department has been elected as the newest member of the LETR Executive Council.  Adam will serve as one of five At Large Positions.  Adam has been an active member of LETR for 9 years and has been an instrumental leader in many fundraising events, Torch Runs and with presenting medals to athletes at Summer Games and Fall Sports Classic.  Congratulations Adam!

The 2014 Kansas Law Enforcement Torch Runs are being organized. If you are a Torch Run coordinator, please complete this form as soon as possible and send to letr@ksso.org. If you are planning on participating in a Torch Run near you, please register online or complete this offline, mail-in form.

Special Olympics Summer Games in Wichita will be held June 6th - 8th. Please note this is a week later than normal so check your calendars for your run date! Crappie Tournament

The Kansas LETR is proud to present their annual crappie tournament! The event will be held on Saturday, April 26th at Clinton Lake, Boat Ramp #2. Saline County Sheriff's Office BBQ

The Saline County Sheriff's Office is proud to host their annual BBQ fundraiser! The event will be held on both Thursday, May 22nd and Friday, May 23rd from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on both days. Golf Tournaments

Emporia PD

The Emporia Police Department will be hosting their annual Golf Scramble on May 10, 2014 at the Emporia Municipal Golf Course (1133 S Hwy 99). It has a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. The cost is $65 per golfer ($45 for EMGC members). For more information and to download the registration form, click here.

Shawnee FOP

3rd Annual Shawnee F.O.P. Golf Classic will be held Friday, May 16th. They will have a rainout date of Friday, May 30th. The event will be held at Tomahawk Hills Golf Club (17501 Midland Drive, Shawnee, KS). The cost is $70 /golfer, $80/golfer day of event. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with 8:00 a.m. tee off time. Midnight Run

Changes for 2014! The Leawood Police Department’s 6th Annual Midnight 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will be held on Friday, June 20. It will start at the new Leawood Justice Center (4201 Town Center Drive, Leawood, KS). Race begins at 11:00 p.m., starts at Midnight! Join us for other fun including zumba fun and glow sticks! Run WITH The Law - Goodland

Local law enforcement officers will be offering the citizens of Goodland a very unique opportunity to Run WITH The Law! On Saturday, June 21, officers will carry the torch through the streets of Goodland where they will end at the Goodland High School track and present the torch to our newest Special Olympics team! The team, coaches, community supporters and law enforcement officers will then join forces as the Run WITH The Law around the track! For more details, check out the event flyer.
