Bowling for Special Olympics

The Spring Hill Police Department will be hosting their inaugural bowling fundraising tournament on Sunday, October 26. The event will start at 10:00 a.m. and will be held at the Olathe East Lanes (303 N Lindenwood, Olathe). Bracket style play, best of three games moves on. Cash for Cans - Topeka

Looking to get rid of some old aluminum cans and would like to donate them? Stop by the parking lot of the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office (320 S Kansas, Topeka, KS) and put them in the specified dumpster. The event will run from Saturday, October 25 to Saturday, November 8. First Responder Fitness Challenge Event (Cross Fit Style)

On Saturday, November 8th from 8 am to noon, the Metro Area LETR will host a First Responder Fitness Challenge Event at Olathe CrossFit (1801 E Kansas City Road in Olathe, KS).  Teams of 4 (2 women and 2 men) will compete in 3 workouts structured to test speed, strength and endurance. Each workout will be 5-20 minutes and will consist of "required movements" or "expectations". The event is designed to challenge fitness enthusiasts of all levels. Tip A Cop - Texas Roadhouse

Join the Riley County Police Department as they partner up with Texas Roadhouse (200 Manhattan Town Center, Manhattan, KS) to present their annual Tip A Cop! The event will be held on Wednesday, December 10 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. If you make a donation during the event, you can enjoy an onion blossom or fried pickles for FREE! What a great way to support Special Olympics Kansas and get free food! Hope to see you there!
